Overview

Parts for the Vehicle You Design

We machine the AGV and AMR parts you design, to your drawing, from prototype to pilot fleet; see our guide to AGV components. We do not supply spare parts for branded vehicles.

What we machine

AGV parts we machine

  • Chassis and frame
  • Drive units
  • Perception and safety
  • Electronics, thermal
  • Load handling
  • Chassis and frame
  • Motion: drive units
  • Perception and safety
  • Electronics and thermal
  • Load-handling modules
  • Chassis and frame

Main frame, deck plates and battery bay machined from 6061-T6 or 7075-T6 aluminum, held for flatness and stiffness under payload.

  • Motion: drive units

Gearbox housings, wheel hubs, axles and drive shafts, plus steering-pivot parts, in aluminum, 42CrMo or 17-4PH; bearing fits and coaxiality come first.

  • Perception and safety

LiDAR brackets, camera housings, bumper brackets and e-stop housings in aluminum or PC, machined for sensor alignment.

  • Electronics and thermal

Battery housings and trays, charging-contact holders, busbar supports and heat sinks in aluminum, copper, PEEK or POM, where insulation and the heat path decide the design.

  • Load-handling modules

Lift plates, guide blocks and screw-drive parts for load-handling modules, in steel or POM, machined to your drawing for wear resistance and alignment.

Highlights

Engineering points for AGV parts

  • Drive-unit alignment Featured Image

    Drive-unit alignment

Parallel wheel axes and coaxial bearing bores: hub, shaft and bearing housing are machined to the relationships your GD&T calls out.

  • Repeatable sensor mounts Featured Image

    Repeatable sensor mounts

Dowel-located LiDAR and camera brackets return to the same position after service, so a replaced bracket needs no recalibration.

  • Wear and environment Featured Image

    Wear and environment

Flat sealing faces and grooves for the IP class you require (IEC 60529); the rating itself is validated on your assembled unit.

  • Pilot fleets, batches Featured Image

    Pilot fleets, batches

Repeatable fixtures, one inspection plan from prototype to batch, laser-marked revision IDs: parts from different builds never mix.

AGV vs AMR: what changes for the parts

AspectAGVAMR
NavigationFixed paths: magnetic tape, wire or laser targetsFree navigation with LiDAR and cameras
Typical vehicleOften heavier, built around load capacityOften smaller service vehicles, e.g. delivery robots; see also AMR and robot chassis

FAQs

AGV parts FAQs

Send your CAD model and drawing; an engineer reviews fits, datums and manufacturability before quoting. NDA on request.

Do you supply spare parts for branded AGVs?
No. We machine custom parts to the drawings of AGV and AMR builders; spare parts for a branded vehicle come from its maker.
Which AGV parts are usually machined rather than bought?
Chassis plates, drive-unit housings and motor mounts, wheel hubs and axles, sensor brackets, battery housings and controller enclosures.
Can you machine the gears for AGV drive units?
Gears can be machined to your drawing on request, to the accuracy grade specified on that drawing. Our focus is the drive-unit housings, shafts, hubs and mounts around them.
Do you support prototype and pilot fleets?
Yes: no MOQ for prototypes, then engineering builds, pilot fleets and low-volume repeat batches.
What do I need to send for a quote?
3D CAD, a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity.
What are the main components of an AGV?
Chassis, drive units, navigation sensors, safety system, battery and charging, controller and load-handling.
